Wednesday, Dec. 18, was the launch party for the three-day My Kipling Bag Tour at 2080 Kalakaua Avenue (the old Nike Town location). Hawaii is the last stop of their tour and they will be here until tomorrow, Dec. 20, giving out complimentary makeup bags, pupus and drinks from 3 to 9 p.m. each day!
The event is easy to spot since there is a gigantic Kipling bag right near the entrance.
I love how their bags and accessories are so colorful and bright!

There is also free monogramming at the event which is great for gifts.
Fellow Pulse blogger Jermel-Lynn Quillopo and I both got our makeup bags personalized!
There were a lot of different types of entertainment going on which included Polynesian dancers, a DJ, and live music.
Guests could also get complimentary massages, makeup touch-ups or take pictures in a photo booth.
“Top Chef” finalist Lee Anne Wong, middle, created appetizers for this event. Look out for her next month at Koko Head Café in Kaimuki, where she’ll serve up local-style breakfast and lunch dishes with her own creative twist.
Crunchy ahi poke chips with sea asparagus.
Refreshing basil and pineapple lemonade.
My favorite was the crispy chicken karaage with a light and creamy Greek sauce.
Korean sushi, aka Kimbab.
Kalua chicken sliders.
Vegetarian Chinese noodles.
Everyone loved the candied toasted bread topped with yogurt and fruits for dessert.
