Kevin Okimoto
Kevin Okimoto has played music for more than 10 years, many of those as one of the lead singers and rhythm guitar player for the Opihi Pickers. During his time with the band, he recorded and released seven albums while also performing both locally and abroad. The Opihi Pickers played a reunion set at the 2013 “MayJah RayJah” concert at Kakaako Waterfront Park.
In addition to playing in a band, Okimoto also performs as a solo artist at many venues on Oahu. His repertoire includes traditional and contemporary Hawaiian, R&B and reggae. He is also a professional surf instructor and works as a beach boy in Waikiki.
