Ke Kani O Ke Kai returns for 2014 run

The Waikiki Aquarium’s popular Ke Kani O Ke Kai summer concert series returns for five oceanside performances by some of Hawaii’s most popular recording artists.

In addition to the live entertainment, guests will be able to feast on food prepared by a rotating lineup of local restaurants.

Here’s the 2014 lineup:

» June 12: Ho‘okena, Ben & Malia (food by The Grove)
» June 26: HAPA, Cyril Pahinui (food by Kani Ka Pila Grille)
» July 10: Natalie Ai Kamauu, Mark Yamanaka (food by The Grove)
» July 24: Weldon Kekauoha, Melveen Leed (food by Da Spot)
» Aug. 7: Kuana Torres Kahele, Makana (food by HASR Bistro)

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for each concert at the Waikiki Aquarium, 2777 Kalakaua Ave., with food and drinks available prior to performances at 7 p.m. Aquarium galleries and exhibits will remain open throughout the evening.

Tickets for single Ke Kani O Ke Kai concerts are $50 general admission, $20 for keiki 5 to 12 years old and free for keiki 4 and under; discounted admission is available for Friends of Waikiki Aquarium members. In addition, special series pricing for all five concerts is available for $200 ($75 for keiki). Order online at waikikiaquarium.org/kkokk.
