HONOLULU EKIDEN SUNSET ON THE BEACH: Following the running of the 2014 Honolulu Ekiden relay marathon, there’ll be a special concert and awards ceremony packed with lots of entertainment on Waikiki Beach.
The concert features Japanese artists Kimaguren (pop/reggae duo from Kanagawa), Scandal (pop-rock girl band from Osaka) and Monkey Majik (pop-rock Japanese-Canadian band from Sendai), with Hawaii teen rockers EMKE opening.
Only registered Ekiden runners are allowed to enter the gated concert area, but the public can enjoy the music from the beach.

MANOA NIGHT OUT: The first Sunday event welcomes families (including pets) to head down to the University Avenue Baptist Church parking lot for a night of fun and food. The event features food trucks (Soul Patrol, Yaya Thai and Petit Suisse Crepes), a bounce house and keiki activities and games.
