Pacific Ink tattoo expo gathers skin artists for an entertaining, family-friendly event
Tattoos are so popular, so mainstream, so everywhere these days that it may be hard to imagine a time when they weren’t. Back in the ’90s, however, when Jacob Hanks, a second-generation tattoo artist, was a boy in Kailua, he remembers what it was like to be seen with his dad, famed tattoo artist and tattoo machine builder Larry Hanks.
